Our dog cannot speak and tell us where it hurts...

As a dog owner I want to tell you this! Don’t listen to what others tell you “It’s a dog there is nothing wrong with him you are over reacting!”, “It’s a dog don’t worry he will get used to throwing up or the pain... why you care so much?”, “Dogs scratch themselves like that there is nothing wrong you are seeing things that are not there!” etc.

Our dog cannot speak and tell us where it hurts!!! Take the time to notice his behaviors so you can be able to notice immediately when something is off!!! They give us unconditional love!! All they are asking of us is to love them and to protect them! They cannot do it themselves!

Our dogs are the kid that never gets old enough to take care of himself! Its up to us until their last day on earth to take care of them!!

While you are siting on your couch look at him for a few moments how he acts, how he pees (if he pees in the house as well as outside). Notice how he scratch himself.

Why? I will tell you one example of mine.

I did not have that intuition the first years with my dog and I was so sad about it until I started to spend a few minutes noticing what he was doing and how.

The other day he started scratching his neck intense. My roommate was “You are imagining it he does not do anything different...” At night he woke me up so many times because he was scratching again and again and he was losing his breath after it from all that intense scratching. I bath him to make sure pollen of the flowers from walking outside is not the problem or the dust. Nothing! Then I started to cut his hair to be able to view his neck! I notice the problem and took him to the vet. If I have listened to my roommate the problem will have become worst and he will have suffered more!

I can see the small changes and the big ones! That’s my responsibility!! Don’t let them suffer! Pay attention! They deserve it!
