Our motives, ideas, and opinions are a mixture of false information, biases, irrational passions, personal preferences, and unconscious influences. Within this mixture, there are small fragments of truth, providing the misleading impression that the entire blend is genuine and real. The process of thinking attempts to organize these deceptive perceptions (delusions) according to the laws of logic and plausibility. This is the map by which we navigate our lives. However, society generates these biases, irrational passions, and various forms of fiction, suffocating, distorting, and tarnishing the truth.
